The Environmental and Climate Sciences Department at Brookhaven National
Laboratory is seeking a post-doctoral scientist to pursue novel
characterizations of aerosol-cloud interactions and the aerosol indirect
effect using airborne observations made during ACTIVATE, the Aerosol Cloud
meTeorology Interactions oVer the western Atlantic Experiment, a NASA
airborne mission to investigate aerosol-cloud-environment interactions over
the western North Atlantic Ocean. The work will focus on analysis of the
full complement of airborne measurements to further quantitative frameworks
for understanding aerosol impacts on clouds and climate.
