*Responsibilities*
As Geographer or Geologist within the Woods Hole Coastal & Marine Science
Center, some of your specific duties will include:
-Conducts geospatial analysis of coastal change through time across
multiple spatial scales.
-Analyzes remotely sensed, geographic, and environmental data.
-Uses a variety of statistical, geologic, and environmental tools to
evaluate datasets, including remote sensing and environmental time series
measurements.
-Participates and/or lead fieldwork studies. Assists with collection of
data to validate remotely sensed data.
-Works with scientists, technical staff, and collaborators at the USGS to
assist geospatial data dissemination.
-Performs digital processing of geospatial and environmental data in a
variety of formats to produce figures, table, data products, and maps.
-Contributes to reports and information products.
-Operates a motor vehicle as an incidental driver.
