Dear Friends --

WE ARE HIRING!!

Do you know someone who:
- is excited to stop toxic pollution in environmental justice
communities and move through a just transition to zero waste?
- is a skilled campaigner or researcher in environmental health?
- is interested in building a network of grassroots groups to shut down
incinerators across the US, and globally?

GAIA is looking for a highly-skilled and passionate U.S. & Canada
Failing Incinerators Project (FIP) Coordinator who wants to strengthen
the movement for environmental justice and zero waste. Through the
Failing Incinerators Project
<https://www.no-burn.org/failing-incinerators/>, GAIA is building a
long-term strategy to support pollution-reducing zero waste efforts in
key locations throughout the United States. The FIP Coordinator will
catalyze a coordinated effort between leading organizers in the U.S. and
support cross-cutting research and communications strategies that will
multiply the impact of grassroots organizing across the country.

The position will be ideally based in either New York City or Berkeley,
CA, but we will make exceptions for highly qualified candidates.
