Postdoc Position in Satellite Observations of Atmospheric Composition at University of Leicester. Interested in atmospheric composition, analysing large datasets, and solving some of science’s greatest challenges? A postdoc position is available at University of Leicester to work on the European Research Council (ERC) funded project, UpTrop (http://maraisresearchgroup.co.uk/uptrop.html) that aims to address uncertainties in reactive nitrogen in the global upper troposphere.

The successful candidate will obtain global NO2 concentrations in the upper troposphere from the ESA Sentinel-5P TROPOMI instrument, and interpret and validate the dataset with NASA aircraft observations and the international GEOS-Chem model.
