Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory: 2 year post-doc position in Remote
Sensing of Atmospheric Composition

The atmospheric remote sensing group in the Atomic and Molecular Physics
Division of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Cambridge,
Massachusetts is seeking applicants for the position of Physicist
(Post-Doctoral Research Fellow). The Post-Doctoral Research Fellow will
perform research on atmospheric composition measurements, including those
from ground-based instruments and Earth satellites. The Post-Doctoral
Research Fellow will be part of a vibrant research group working to design,
implement, and improve atmospheric measurements of trace gases and to
perform scientific research using such measurements. The project will
include advancing trace retrieval algorithms and validating measurements of
formaldehyde, glyoxal and water vapor made using the UV/visible spectral
range from the GOME, SCIAMACHY, OMI, GOME2, OMPS and TEMPO space
instruments.
