GS-9 hydrologist, term (not to exceed 13 months, possibly renewable)
Shaver Lake or Fresno, CA
Operates, maintains, and collects data from hydrologic and meteorological field instruments; performs field and laboratory measurements.
Responsible for data compilation and quality assurance for hydrologic and meteorological data, including streamflow, temperature, and precipitation data.
Prepares and processes sediment samples using gravimetric methods.
Compiles reports and analyzes data to assess sensor function and support scientific communiction.
Some supervisory duties and travel required.
