[ES_JOBS_NET] Reminder: Invitation for survey on career decision-making and assessment of ES_Jobs_Net membership

Dear Earth Science Jobs Net Subscribers (ES_Jobs_Net),

Thank you for being part of this effective and growing community, hosted by the Earth Science Women's Network (ESWN)!

As we strive to serve this community and understand the issues facing career advancement and diversity, we are asking for a few minutes of your time to fill out a short, anonymous survey. (Estimated completion is 10-15 minutes).

This survey is being sent with the support and approval of the ESWN Board, with the purpose of learning more about the Earth Science Jobs Network Community, and in an effort to help promote the interests and concerns of this community. We intend to gather some information about you and your career, and how personal life factors - especially romantic relationships - impact your career decisions. Data from this survey will be used (1) to support a research team at the University of Wisconsin—Madison examining career experiences and the impact of romantic relationships on the career decisions of early career scientists; and (2) to provide the ESWN Board with a summary document on the demographics and perspectives of the ES_Jobs_Net membership.

The answers you provide will be anonymous and will be aggregated with responses from others so you cannot be identified individually. You'll be able to skip any questions you don't want to answer.

At the end of the survey, we will invite you to participate in a follow-up study if you are eligible and interested. Please know that completing this survey now does not obligate you to participate in any future studies.
