Job description: Postdoctoral researcher

Research subject: The role of midlatitude latent heating in the maintenance of the extratropical circulation and its response to climate change.

Institution: The Open University of Israel

Requirements:

*         PhD in Atmospheric Science

*         Theoretical background in Atmospheric Fluid Dynamics

*         Experience in numerical modeling and observational analysis

*         Excellent communication and research skills

Schedule: The position is open starting July 2019. The position is for 1-3 years, depending on progress.

Location: The work can be performed either from the campus of the Open University of Israel in Ra'anana or from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot. Both are located in central Israel.

Funding: Full funding is available for the suitable candidate.
