The instructor will teach Geoscience courses and other courses, as appropriate. Will entail summer travel as part of Field Camps.

* Broad range of Geoscience courses
* Other courses as appropriate
* Potentially graduate level courses in geoscience
* Ability to supervise students conducting undergraduate research
* Provide geoscience courses to distance students
Required Qualifications
Required:
* Minimum of a Master's degree in a physical science discipline from an accredited institution. Must have 18 graduate level credits in the discipline in which you will be teaching. Must complete doctoral degree to be eligible to apply for tenure.
* Demonstrated teaching ability in earth and space science
* Willingness to teach in a traditional classroom, field, online, or blended environment
* Demonstration of commitment to student-focused teaching strategies
* Provide oversight and leadership for the college's planetarium and its outreach
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
* Completion or significant progress toward doctoral degree
* Demonstrated experience teaching physical science courses in an online and/or blended format
* Experience with educational learning platforms
* Experience mentoring undergraduate research
