Hi all,
I’m looking for someone who has recently finished a master’s degree in either a social science or meteorology/STEM field and is interested in how the social sciences intersect with severe weather. In particular, my research focuses on how professionals like weather forecasters and emergency managers deal with uncertainty in severe weather forecasts. This person will also help me run Year 5 of my REU program, so having an interest in how undergraduate students make decisions about their future careers is important.
The job is posted here:

I will start interviewing after the holidays, so please spread the word!
Cheers,
Daphne
