Hello colleagues,
Postdoc position in Nitrogen Cycling in Land and Atmosphere.
A postdoc position is available in School of Geographic Sciences in East
China Normal University, Shanghai, China. School of Geographic Sciences has
one of the first PH.D. programs in geography approved in China, one of the
first geographical postdoctoral posts in China, and one of the two earliest
units owning key disciplinary in physical geography in China.
Dependent on the research background, the successful candidate can choose
one of the following research area: 1) biogeochemical nitrogen cycling, more
focus on microbial ecology; 2) flux of HONO, NOx, NH3 and N2O from soils and
the atmospheric impacts; 3) biogeochemical or atmospheric modelling; 4) 15N
method developing and the applications. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in
atmospheric chemistry, soil science, microbiology, ecology, or other
relevant fields. The position is available for two years, and can be
extended for another year depends on evaluation. The applicate will have an
opportunity to apply the faculty position in School of Geographic Sciences
after a two years contract.
