JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Insider'sscience section
<http://www.businessinsider.com/science>is looking for a full-time
science reporter to join our team.

We cover everything from the latest weird animal finds and SpaceX
launches to dark matter and our Earth's changing climate. Our style is
smart, conversational, exciting and geared toward a general audience —
no writing for scientists here.

someone who loves science and is full of great story ideas.

*The ideal candidate will have:*

-- An interest in the science trends that will shape our planet and how
we live in the future.

-- An understanding of how to write about science for a broad audience.

-- The ability to work efficiently in a quick-turn-around environment
without sacrificing accuracy and attention to detail.

-- Prior experience working in a newsroom.

Please note: This job requires that you work full-time from our
Manhattan headquarters. Business Insider offers competitive compensation
packages complete with benefits.
