The Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) at Colorado State University (CSU) seeks to hire an individual to fill a research position at the National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami, Florida (office will be in Miami).  The individual in this position will help to develop and/or demonstrate GOES-16 products in order to improve tropical cyclone analysis and forecasting.  Position title of Research Scientist I will apply to the finalist who possesses a PhD; otherwise the title of Research Associate III will apply to the finalist with a Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience working with geophysical data analysis.
