The Laboratory for Air Pollution/Environmental Technology at Empa,
Switzerland offers a



36 month Postdoc position on „Stable isotope analysis of N2O and CH4”



The Postdoc will contribute to the European metrology research project
“Stable Isotope Reference Standards (SIRS)”, cofounded by Horizon 2020 and
collaborate with partner institutions in the development of new isotope
reference materials for greenhouse gases and promoting their uptake by the
scientific community.



Our laboratory at Empa will focus on N2O stable isotope reference materials
and high precision analysis of greenhouse gas stable isotopes by laser
spectroscopy in collaboration with European partner institutions. In
addition, the Postdoc will be involved in other research projects on N2O
and CH4 stable isotope analysis in ambient air.
