This is to inform you that an open recruitment is underway at the SCAQMD to create an eligible list from which we expect to fill a vacancy for Quality Assurance Manager in the Science and Technology Advancement Division. This position is responsible for managing and developing quality assurance control methods, plans, procedures, and programs, and for coordinating the training of division personnel on the techniques, methods and procedures of source tests, chemical analysis, and ambient air monitoring. The successful candidate will also be involved in different special monitoring activities and projects, and work on various air quality issues in collaboration with other units within SCAQMD, other governmental agencies, public and private institutions, and environmental and community organizations.
