We are looking to interview candidates with a Master's Degree 0 - 5 years experience and or PhD Degree with 0 - 2 years experience. The ideal candidate would have experience operating air monitoring equipment, spectroscopy instrumentation, or chromatography instrumentation. Any experience with open path air monitoring technologies including DOAS and FTIR is also of interest. Any experience analyzing large environmental data sets is also of interest.
The candidate will re-locate to Houston, TX and work in the AECOM office at Greenhouse Rd in the Energy Corridor. The initial work will be supporting on-going air monitoring projects in the TX and Gulf Coast region. The expectation is that within 2-5 years of hiring the candidate would have established a number of air monitoring or air quality projects and acting as a principal scientist or consultant. Previous experience in consulting and project management is desired but not essential.
AECOM is a world wide infrastructure company and there will be opportunities to work on projects throughout the world. Further details on AECOM can be found at links in the job description below. The starting salary will range between 62,000 - 80,000, depending upon qualifications. We expect to make the hiring decision this fall and an expected start date in Q1 2018.
