Brown University is excited to offer the Young Scholar’s Conference:

in the Academy to take place May 22-24, 2016*. This professional 
development workshop is designed for senior graduate students and 
postdocs who are interested in an academic career in the sciences 
(especially Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Planetary 
Sciences, Ecology, Applied Math, Environmental Engineering, and 
Pathology & Environmental Toxicology). Program activities include 
professional development, panel discussions, and opportunities to meet 
with Brown University faculty and administrators. Local housing and 
meals will be provided; some funding for travel expenses can also be 
provided. Preference will be given for members of historically 
underrepresented groups.
