This position serves as an eco-informaticist support scientist working collaboratively in establishing and implementing data relative objectives including the design, development, management and implementation of database functions associated with transdisciplinary agricultural research of the R.J. Cook Agronomy Farm Long-Term Agroecosystem Research (LTAR) site  (announcement ARS-S15W-0657). The ideal candidate has experience working with bio-physical and/or socio-economic data to ensure that the data are securely archived, documented and made discoverable and accessible to researchers and appropriate stakeholders. Provides data management and performs statistical and GIS analysis of a large, integrated program consisting of scientific studies (LTAR) and contributing grant-funded research.
