Job Announcement for Regional Coordinators

CCL is seeking part-time contract employees to work for one year as half or
quarter-time regional coordinators in the following regions:

*Half time ($30,000)*



3rd Coast (TX, LA, MS)


Southeast (AL, GA, FL)

Great Lakes (WI, MI, OH, IN, IL)

Nor'easters (ME, NH, VT, NY, CT, RI, MA)

California (now all one region)



*Quarter time ($15,000)*


Mid Atlantic (PA, DE, MD, DC, NJ )

Mid-South (WV, VA, NC, SC, KY, TN)








Job duties:

·        Work with others in the region to develop a chapter actively
working in every congressional district

·        Provide personal support to group leaders in the region, with
extra attention to new group leaders and GLs where there is no state
coordinator.

·        Support state coordinators in their volunteer roles, and develop
state coordinators where we don’t have one yet.



Additional duties as time allows:

·        Identify and support liaisons for every congressional district

·        Identify and support volunteer media contacts for the major papers
in the region

·        Coordinate regional or state conference planning committee(s)

·        Coordinate national conference lobby day prep (appointments and
bios)

·         Contact group leaders about particular CCL priority actions.

Qualifications Desired:

Self-directed. Outstanding relationship skills. Experience as a CCL leader
highly desired. Preferred residency in the region where you work.
Familiarity with CCL’s goals, methods and legislation.
