Institute of Hydrobiology (IHB, www.hbu.cas.cz) at the Biology Centre of=20=

the Czech Academy of Sciences in Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, seeks=20=

applications for a quantitative specialist to provide support in the=20
development, management and analysis of ecological datasets.

IHB carries out research in various freshwater ecosystems with main=20
emphasis on man-made reservoirs. Labs and teams at IHB cover all aspects=20=

of freshwater ecosystems ranging from water chemistry to biochemistry,=20=

bacteria, protozoans, algae, zooplankton, fish and their predators (more=20=

energetic research team and will be responsible for the maintenance of=20=

existing databases, for the development of new data solutions based on=20=

researchers' needs and for supporting a variety of analytical=20
initiatives.

The position is initially for a two-year period with a possibility for=20=

extension based on funding realities. The position also requires a=20
three-month probation period.
