Hi all,
I just wanted to thank you for a really wonderful meeting. It is inspiring to be with such a forward-looking, positive, intelligent, and fun group of people!
I will be sending out notes from the meeting soon in another day or two. I've gotten wrapped up in some sequestration stuff - fun! NOT! So it is taking me a bit longer than expected to send out those notes.
Thanks again for your inspiration. It will be a pleasure to coordinate eclipse events around the Elipse Megamovie project over the following years.
Laura

Subject: [EMP2012] March 11th meeting
Dear EMP team,
I look forward to meeting many of you on Monday, March 11th! For those of you not traveling, we'll be using a readytalk system. The phone number is: 1-866-740-1260. I am still waiting on the passcode, but will send that out as soon as I get it.
I am planning on picking up many of you at the airport on Sunday evening. I have a Van that will fit 7 of us but not much luggage. Please pack lightly - I think most of us are only coming for one night so I think we can fit us all in. There are actually only 5 of us I've talked to about bringing from DEN to Boulder on Sunday. And 6 of you I will be bringing back to DEN on Monday.
My cell phone is: 1-866-740-1260
Sunday night - Group Dinner around 8pm. I still don't know where we will go. Call my cell if you can join us - or those of us in the Van will go together somewhere on Pearl street, I imagine.
Scott has planned a nice breakfast for us at HAO. So if we can plan to get there for breakfast by 7:30am, that would be ideal. The agenda is below. If you have a PPT to share, please email it to me, or I'll get it from you Monday morning.
Monday
8:00am: Introductions, ice-breaker get-to-know team
8:40am: Review of outcome of Australia eclipse event
(how many photos were submitted? what quality and source - via app or
otherwise? how much traffic to web site? can we make a demo movie from
what we got? etc.)
Look over images uploaded
Look at web, facebook, twitter stats
Report on App functionality
Report on on-the-ground experience with App and public
Report on engaging with educators/press remotely
10:30am: Revisit/revise Goals & Impact of program for 2017 based on this eclipse
11:30pm: Lunch
12:30pm: start to touch on the design needed to meet the goals/impacts based on the pilot test in November
2:00pm: Break
2:30pm: put together a 'planning' schedule for the year.
4:00pm: End
*** Alisdair/Jon sent out the link to the images that were uploaded to the EMP site - so we can all go look at those now!
