Dear all

The app development sounds like a dire difficulty, and maybe it's a sign that we will be relying more on our Web access. It could be that we can still make a "ring of fire" movie from smartphone snaps that way, but without the advantages an app would give in terms of exposure management. Does that sound possible? 

I've invited new recruit Monica Bobra to join this call, and the Friday call as well. Perhaps we can set up a subgroup to deal with data access through the Web (Flickr? Direct?) and she would be interested in helping there. Certainly we need to get serious about the image assembly problems.
