I like this approach ("November 13/14")
I also liked Scott's abstract from earlier in the week.
So we have 3 abstracts: Scott, Hugh, and Russell as first authors. This will be great visibility for this work. I think it is good for where we hope to go!

Subject: [EMP2012] date of the 2012 eclipse
The AGU is post-eclipse, but I remain worried about people getting tickets for the wrong day by reading the date of the 13th somewhere, so I am in favor of saying "November 13/14" or "November 13 (GMT) and 14 (Australia)." Perhaps we should standardize in the 2 (or 3) abstracts.

Firstly, in Hugh's abstract we refer to "November 13", but in Randy's it's
"November 14". I wonder if we should pick local time or GMT for both for
uniformity.
