Dear Colleagues:



                  I’d like to provide the community with my new affiliations and contact information. I retired last year from NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, after a storybook 40-year career. Shortly thereafter I joined Space Environment Technologies (SET) and I also received an appointment at the International Space Science Institute (ISSI) in Bern, Switzerland.

                  Upon my retirement, I stepped down as Principal Investigator of the SABER instrument on the NASA TIMED satellite. NASA has named Dr. Jia Yue of Catholic University and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as my successor. I will continue to work on SABER in an “emeritus” role to assure a smooth transition as the entire original SABER science team has now retired. Jia is already doing a great job as PI of SABER! I know that you will give Jia the same support that you gave me all these years and that, with your incredible creativity, SABER and TIMED will continue their fantastic journey of scientific discovery well into the future.
