CEDAR email: SuperDARN Workshop 2025 – Requests for waiver of registration fee

The annual SuperDARN Workshop will be held June 2 - 6, 2025 at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center in Roanoke, Virginia, with support from the National Science Foundation. To encourage the participation of students and early-career researchers, limited funds are available to waive the cost of registration. The costs of traveling to the meeting and accommodation will remain the responsibility of the attendee. Registration includes breakfast and lunch for all days of the workshop, coffee breaks, receptions, a banquet dinner, and a mid-week excursion.

We anticipate that the Workshop website will open for registration and hotel booking in the next few weeks. At this point we are soliciting applications from interested individuals for a waiver of the registration fee. Please fill out the form at https://forms.office.com/r/NwW6yp5jAL

Note that applicants will need to include a title, an abstract, and a list of authors for consideration as a presentation (oral or poster is TBD). Applications will begin to be reviewed on February 15. Decisions regarding support will be made by March 1.
