Hi all,

Thank you to everyone who participated in the eclipse session at CEDAR eclipse session last week. During the session it was announced that there are few efforts underway to help everyone disseminate their eclipse related research results (with more to come).

- There is an ANGEO Special Issue "Atmospheric responses to total and annular solar eclipses” that is now open with a manuscript submission deadline of December 31, 2024 (https://www.annales-geophysicae.net/articles_and_preprints/scheduled_sis.html). Please consider submitting a manuscript to this special issue. The guest editors are Igo Paulino (Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Brazil), Rafael Luiz Araujo de Mesquita (Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, United States), Patrick Dandenault (Johns Hopkins University, United States), Geeta Vichare (Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, India), Gareth Perry (New Jersey Institute of Technology, United States), and Manuel Bravo (Universidad Adventista de Chile, Chile).

- There will be an SPA-Aeronomy eclipse session at AGU 2024: “SA020: Results from the 2023 and 2024 solar eclipses: a focus on the M-I-T response” (Session ID: 225676; https://agu.confex.com/agu/agu24/prelim.cgi/Session/225676). Please consider submitting an abstract to this session before the July 31 deadline. The conveners are Gareth Perry (New Jersey Institute of Technology, United States), Rafael Luiz Araujo de Mesquita (Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, United States), Igo Paulino (Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Brazil), Aroh Barjatya (Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, United States), and Christopher Watson (University of New Brunswick, Canada).
