The details are as follows and can be found on the web at Young Scientist Award - IMCP

Definition
This award will provide encouragement to young scientists who have achieved considerable success and showed excellence in ground-based space weather research and taken an active part in IMCP-related studies.
A call for applications from the research community will be made annually. Information will be distributed through the IMCP and other mailing lists and the IMCP website.

Eligibility
The definition of a Young Scientist (early career) is a researcher who has been awarded his/her Ph.D. normally within the past 8 years. Exception to this timeframe may be considered.
The applicant should conduct original geospace scientific research and has made outstanding progress, using observations from one or more observing facilities associated with the IMCP or other related ground-based devices, or using other techniques (e.g., modeling) to help understand these observations.
The award will recognize outstanding individual contributions as demonstrated in various formats including refereed literature and publications where the Young Scientist was a lead or main author.
To be eligible for the award, submitting at least one abstract to and presenting at the IMCP workshop are required. The award will be presented at the workshop venue.

Application
The applicant should submit an application package with the following documents:
i. Curriculum Vitae, with a brief (one-page) description of the research experience and important scientific contributions;
