CEDAR email: Call for GEM Workshop Proposals for 2026

Dear Colleagues,
We would like to alert you about an open call for GEM workshop proposals to the Geospace Cluster (PD24-7789) in the Division of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences at NSF. A successful GEM workshop award will be for running the 2026 GEM and Mini-GEM workshops and onwards annually for the duration of the award. Proposers should check out Chapter II: Proposal Preparation Instructions - Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) (NSF 24-1) | NSF - National Science Foundation<https://new.nsf.gov/policies/pappg/24-1/ch-2-proposal-preparation#ch2F8> to learn more about how to prepare a conference proposal. Proposers should also contact Dr. Tai-Yin Huang (thuang at nsf.gov<mailto:thuang at nsf.gov>) for more information and to express interest before submission. The target date for GEM workshop proposals is Wednesday March 19, 2025.
