CEDAR email: Research Engineer in Incoherent Scatter Radar - SRI International

The Center for Geospace Studies at SRI International is seeking an enthusiastic Research Engineer to join our team. This person will support ongoing operations and maintenance of incoherent scatter radars, contribute to basic-science efforts using incoherent scatter radar data, and collaborate on other research efforts related to geospace science. The position can either be located at SRI International’s Menlo Park, California headquarters or be remote in the U.S. Applicants should have either a Ph.D. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Atmospheric Science, or a related field. Both of these positions have no specific citizenship requirements. The “Background Check” mentioned in each job ad is a standard check required for all SRI employees covering credit history, employment history, criminal history, etc. These two positions will not require the applicants to obtain a national security clearance.
