Dear Colleagues,
URSI GASS 2021 will be held in Rome, 28 August-4 September 2021, replacing the GASS 2020 cancelled due to COVID 19 pandemic. The URSI committee is implementing a hybrid option for the meeting, allowing both on-site and remote participation.
Call for papers closes soon on 31 January 2021.
We would like to draw your attention to our session:
G06 Innovations in Geospace Science Using Incoherent Scatter Radar Techniques
***********************************************
Description:
This session will focus on the latest developments in the use of incoherent scatter
radars (ISR) for atmospheric and geospace science. This session’s scope includes
studies of both high- and low-latitudes with existing radar facilities as well as
studies of the possible capabilities of future facilities. Papers presenting novel ISR
experiments, new techniques for analyzing ISR data, and unconventional uses of
ISR-class facilities are especially encouraged. Studies combining ISRs with other
ground-based or space-based instruments are also welcome, especially studies that
highlight unique capabilities of ISRs that can complement other observations.
Conveners: Phil Erickson, Dave Hysell, Anders Tjulin, and Roger Varney
