We would like to invite you to submit an abstract to the “Benchmarking
Space Weather Forecasting Models: Machine Learning and First Principles
Methods” Session at the 2022 AMS Annual Meeting, the 19th Conference on
Space Weather. The conference will take place from 23 to 27 January 2022 in
Houston, Texas. The organizers are considering the potential impact of
COVID-19 on the in-person attendance in Houston, and are reviewing virtual

methods, reproducibility of results, and the use of novel techniques in the
context of predictive space weather applications. The abstract submission
