Dear CEDAR Community,

We would like to call your attention to a new NSF geospace solicitation, "Grand Challenges in Integrative Geospace Sciences: Advancing National Space Weather Expertise and Research toward Societal Resilience" (ANSWERS). This funding opportunity supports transformative understanding of the integrated Sun-Earth system as well as solar and terrestrial drivers of space weather and their effects “from Sun to mud,” along with forward-looking educational endeavors and diverse partnerships. The ANSWERS solicitation seeks research questions that go beyond the scope of each of the long-standing NSF Geospace funding opportunities (Aeronomy, CEDAR, GEM, Magnetospheric Physics, and Solar Terrestrial Research).

NSF Geospace program officers expect to offer two virtual office hours in mid-May to share information and respond to questions from potential proposers.
