The School of Earth and Space Exploration (SESE) at Arizona State
University is accepting applications for a postdoctoral research scholar.
Description

Applications are invited for up to two postdoctoral research scholar
positions to work with data and instrumentation for the measurement of
gravity waves, and terrestrial influences on space weather. Expected
research duties will include the use of lidar, satellite, and imager data
to attain information regarding wave propagation in the middle atmosphere.
The candidate(s) in this position will work closely with modelers to
determine characteristics and sources of observed gravity waves in the
atmosphere, and influences of these gravity waves on thermosphere and
ionosphere variability.

SESE is an interdisciplinary department, bringing together all of Earth and
space science at ASU, including astrophysics, cosmology, planetary science,
and geology. Read more about SESE at https://sese.asu.edu/.
