Dear Colleagues, 

We would like to invite you to participate in the GEM-CEDAR Global Modeling Challenge Session <http://cedarweb.vsp.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/2019_Workshop:GEM_CEDAR_Global_Modeling_Challenge> scheduled for Friday, June 21, 2019, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

To date the ionosphere/thermosphere model validation efforts <https://ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov/assessment/forum-topics.php> carried out under the umbrella of the “International Forum for Space Weather Capabilities Assessment <https://ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov/assessment>” has made much progress. Based on this success our efforts for this year will focus on ionospheric disturbances including their observations and modeling efforts.
 
Specifically, our focus for this year will be TEC disturbances and Scintillation Studies.
