The Arecibo Observatory, part of University of Central Florida (UCF), is
opening two positions for the Space and Atmospheric Science department. The
research emphasis of the group is plasma aeronomy and physics as well as
space weather using the 430 MHz Incoherent scatter radar (ISR) and the
support cluster of radio receivers and passive-and-active optics placed
onsite and in the AO remote facility in Culebra Island.



The “Senior Observatory Scientist (Space and Atmospheric Science Team
Lead)” and the “Observatory Scientist (Space and Atmospheric Science)”
