Dear Colleagues,

We welcome your contributions to the 2019 AGU session “Ionospheric and Atmospheric Monitoring of Natural Hazards and Manmade Events”. This interdisciplinary session will focus on understanding the ionospheric and atmospheric responses to impulsive disturbance events near the surface of the Earth, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, severe tropospheric weather events (e.g., hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical cyclones, thunderstorms), explosions, and spacecraft launches.

Please consider submitting an abstract at https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm19/prelim.cgi/Session/76046

Best regards,
Xing Meng on behalf of conveners Elvira Astafyeva, Lucie Rolland, and Panagiotis Vergados
