Dear Colleagues,
This is just a friendly reminder that AOGS abstract submissions are due Friday Jan 19 . Please see below the information for AS53 session: Experimental And Theoretical Investigations On The Electrodynamic Coupling Between Troposphere And Near-earth Environment.
We cordially invite you to present your research at the 15th AOGS annual meeting in the AS53 session: Experimental And Theoretical Investigations On The Electrodynamic Coupling Between Troposphere And Near-earth Environment . The meeting will be held from June 3 – June 8 , 2018 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Abstract submissions are available now through Friday Jan 19 , 2018. More information can be found on the meeting’s website [ http://www.asiaoceania.org/aogs2018/ | http://www.asiaoceania.org/aogs2018/ ] . Below is the session description.
We invite presentations reporting on recent progress made in the observations, techniques, and theoretical modeling investigating the physical processes involved in lightning and the coupling between the troposphere and near-earth space (including the stratosphere and ionosphere) via thunderstorms, lightning, gravity waves, Transient Luminous Events (TLEs), Terrestrial Gamma-ray Flash (TGF), and related phenomena. These studies investigate the physical and chemical processes in thunderstorms and lightning, and their effects and impacts on the lower, middle and upper atmosphere through atmospheric transport processes, TLE-related perturbations in the middle/upper atmosphere, temperature changes, gas concentration variations, chemical changes, and other coupling processes between the lower atmosphere and the near-earth space environment.
We look forward to seeing you in Honolulu!
