These studies investigate the physical and chemical processes in thunderstorms and lightning, and their effects and impacts on the lower, middle and upper atmosphere through atmospheric transport processes, TLE-related perturbations in the middle/upper atmosphere, temperature changes, gas concentration variations, chemical changes, and other coupling processes between the lower atmosphere and the near-earth space environment.</span></p><p style="margin: 0px;
