CEDAR email: CSSC to meet in December; AIP: NSF to Decide Fate of Arecibo by June 2017, Green Bank by Winter 2017-18

Dear CEDAR Community:

1.  The CEDAR Science Steering Committee will meet in December.  It is not
too early
to think about workshop planning, and for the Prize Lecture and related
plenary presentations.



2.  The American Institute of Physics has released an informative article
(with helpful links to
other documents) regarding the future of Arecibo (and Green Bank, which
faces similar
fiscal stress.)
