Students in the poster competition who have registered with CEDAR are
required
to upload their poster .pdf files by EARLY on Friday June 17. Early is
necessary
in case there are problems. Students who are new to CEDAR got a wiki login,
while other students should have one already. Non-students are also
encouraged
to upload their posters for archive if they are comfortable doing that, and
to also
upload their oral talks at the various individual workshops. The archive
default
is .pdf, which does not contain movies, but that is OK. Uploading requires
a
CEDAR wiki login (or DB login), which can be checked at the user list at
http://cedarweb.vsp.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/Special:ListUsers
where the login is usually familyname...., but could begin with the initial
of the
first name. Students in competition who do not have a login should contact
emery at ucar.edu to get a wiki login. Posters should be uploaded to the IT or
MLT lists by clicking on the poster number at
http://cedarweb.vsp.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/2016_Workshop:IT_Poster_List
or
http://cedarweb.vsp.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/2016_Workshop:MLT_Poster_List
and uploading the .pdf of the poster. It is not necessary to have the same
name
for the poster. Oral talks are uploaded either at the agenda at
http://cedarweb.vsp.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/2016_Workshop:Agenda
or to the individual workshop page. Help on uploading is at
http://cedarweb.vsp.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
under the left hand menu of 'wiki links'/'help'/'
http://cedarweb.vsp.ucar.edu/wiki/index.php/Help:Uploading_Files'
with the easiest being the examples under 'Documents' at the end. The
poster
uploads do not need to read this help page at all since their links are
already set
waiting for an upload.

GEM posters and oral talks do not need to be uploaded.
