[cam-users] one question about the restart pointer file

Dear ccm3 users:

When running ccm3.6.6, there is this restart pointer file which is written
in the home directory automatically. What's the use of this file? Is this
file going to affect the history outputs files h0001, h0002,....? Or it
only takes in effect when we start a restart run later? If runing several
runs at the same time, will the restart pointer file automatically
generated with the same name and directory confuse history output files
for each run?
