[Wrf-users] how to change land cover map in WRF?

[Haghtalab, Nafiseh]

Dear WRF users,

I want to run WRF with different land covers. So  I have some questions:

1- What year is the default land cover in WRF for? I can see it is MODIS 21 class. But I don't know what year it is.

2- if I want to manually modify the default land cover and change forest to desert, what steps I have to go through?


Any help would be appreciated.
