[Wrf-users] Output from metgrid.exe includes extremely high soil moisture values

Hi,

My apologies for not providing a detailed response, but I just wanted to
say that I vaguely recall that last summer, sometime in late July, NCEP
seemed to change some of structure of its GRIB files, products, etc. I
also (vaguely) recall that the WRF community came up with a message
suggesting the use of a "fixed" utility for preprocessing.

Again, I don't recall all the details, but, if it was me in your position,
I might start googling and see if the change in format might be the root of
your problem.

All the best,

Don Morton
