[Wrf-users] Write only one vertical level in wrfout file

Hi

I am running wrfchem 3.7.1 simulations for my studies. Since I have to run
very long duration simulations, it creates huge output files- most parts of
which is not useful for my study.

I have set 31 vertical levels in my simulations however, I need only the
lowermost (zeroth) layer of the model for my study. Is it possible to
modify WRF code so that it writes out only the lowermost vertical level
output- this way my output files will become 30 times smaller which will be
very convenient for me.

I will really appreciate if someone can help me in this regard.
