[Wrf-users] Land use & Topography effects in model

Hi,
I think i can suggest something for part of your question.

If you want to edit the geogrid data with some sort of gui experience, in
past I have used the tools from the below mentioned link.

http://www.nusculus.com/wtools

Check out wtools, it will allow you to see and modify some data in geo_em
file. I think it works for land use, however i dont think you can modify
the land mask. Maybe someone on wrfhelp can suggest better answer.

In past I have used a modified version of code

https://github.com/hetland/octant/blob/master/octant/grid.py

from this repository. At line number 937, it shows how python can be used
to edit the mask, but i think it is not a quick solution.
