[Wrf-users] simulation of land surface temperature at high resolution

Hello All:

 

I want to simulate urban land surface temperature of high resolution at 1 km
by using the urban canopy model within the WRF model.

My idea is to use both MODIS land cover 1 km data and NLCD 30 meter (only
urban land cover data, 31, 32, 33) as the input.

I got this from
http://www2.mmm.ucar.edu/people/duda/files/how_to_hires.html.

 

Could anyone comment on this method to simulate land surface temperature at
1Km? Or is there any better way to do that?
