Hello,
I am trying to configure the WRFV3.4 but the script does not seem to
find my jasper libraries.
This is the output from the configure script:

checking for perl5... no
checking for perl... found /usr/bin/perl (perl)
Will use NETCDF in dir: /usr
PHDF5 not set in environment. Will configure WRF for use without.
which: no timex in
(/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/lib64/java/bin:/usr/lib64/java/jre/bin:/usr/lib64/java/bin:/usr/lib64/kde4/libexec:/usr/lib64/qt/bin:/usr/share/texmf/bin:.)
If you REALLY want Grib2 output from WRF, modify the arch/Config_new.pl
script.
Right now you are not getting the Jasper lib, from the environment,
compiled into WRF.

My system is Slackware64-13.37, kernel 2.6.38.4, jasper-1.900.1-x86_64.
Jasper is available on my system:
ls /usr/lib64/libjasper*
/usr/lib64/libjasper.a /usr/lib64/libjasper.la
/usr/lib64/libjasper.so /usr/lib64/libjasper.so.1
/usr/lib64/libjasper.so.1.0.0

ls /usr/include/jasper/*
/usr/include/jasper/jas_cm.h /usr/include/jasper/jas_fix.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_init.h /usr/include/jasper/jas_stream.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_types.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_config.h /usr/include/jasper/jas_getopt.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_malloc.h /usr/include/jasper/jas_string.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_version.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_config2.h /usr/include/jasper/jas_icc.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_math.h /usr/include/jasper/jas_tmr.h
/usr/include/jasper/jasper.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_debug.h /usr/include/jasper/jas_image.h
/usr/include/jasper/jas_seq.h /usr/include/jasper/jas_tvp.h

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Best regards,
