[Wrf-users] registry question

Yuan,

Under the /Registry directory, the file 'Registry' is created when you compile the WRF system. Depending on what option your chose during the compilation process, you will need to edit the corresponding registry file. For example, if you used the command: compile em_real, the wrf system will create a 'Registry' file from the 'Registry.EM' file found in the /Registry directory.

So if you are searching for a variable already part of the WRF system, you will need to search in the correct Registry file. If your variable is not already part of the WRF system, you will need to add it. That is a different conversation.
