[Wrf-users] Error in Validating WRF-ARW with MET

Dear WRF-users,

I want to validate WRF-ARW output with Model Evaluation Tool (MET), but when
I combine the .nc file in em_real directory, it always shows the following
error:

[faisal at localhost METv2.0]$ bin/pcp_combine -sum 00000000_000000 3
20100215_210000 24 tutorial/out/pcp_combine/test.nc -pcpdir
data/sample_obs/metPerforming sum command:
init_time/in_accum/valid_time/out_accum Times = 0/10800/1266267600/86400
Searching for 8 files with accumulation times of 3 hours to sum to a total
accumulation time of 24 hours in data/sample_obs/met

  *GribFile::skip_header() -> can't find "GRIB" magic cookie

***WARNING*** check_file_time() -> can't open precipitation grib file:
data/sample_obs/met/met_em.d01.20100215_030000.nc
