Your log shows that the level for PSFC and HGT (I assume this is the
surface height) is set to 0 in your binary file. However, for surface
fields, the intermediate format expects you to use 200100. for the level
value, except for sea-level pressure which should be set to 201300 for
the level. Try changing your binary files to use those level values for
your surface fields.

Best regards,

Brent

Dear wrf users,

I am recently trying to using a new data set to initialize wrf model.
The data format is binary and I can read it out to write it as the
intermediate format which is
acceptable by wrfsi. The result seems ok when I use plotfmt.exe (under
~/src/grib_prep/util) to check. But when I run wrfprep.pl to interpolate
the data, things
go wrong.I am wondering how can I do that further? Some output
information of hinterp is listed below.Does anyone can help me ? Thanks
a lot!
